My uncle was one of those WW2 vets who never talked about it - with two exceptions:
1) The liberation of a concentration camp.
2) The terror felt upon hearing the dive of a Stuka.
I’m not sure but believe the tank picture in #8 looks more like a ‘Panther’ medium tank and not the heavy Tiger II as labeled.
